Create a sample VM Instance to get associated Metrics

Go to Cloud Logging, and get method — “beta.compute.instances.insert”

Create Custom Metrics Using Actions >

Create a Pub/Sub Topic and Integrate it with Cloud Alert.

Go to Cloud Monitoring > Alerting

Create Alert

Go and create a new instance

Alert Received :

Message Received within Pub/Sub as well :
